Colors of the sky

Relax at Lake Teganuma, sit down by the waterfront and enjoy a wonderful day in all its different incarnations. The slow rise of the red morning sun, the vast sight of nature at noon, and the almost violet-colored horizon during sunset, Teganuma offers very special scenery for everybody. Not just humans, but also the animals enjoy the atmosphere. Birds fly close to you, expecting some free snacks, and families of swans are trolling around on the water. At Michi-no-Eki Shonan (Roadside station), a farmer’s market sells vegetables and fruits directly from farmers to customers. You can enjoy the freshest ingredients at relatively low prices while supporting the local community. Not just at Michi-no-Eki Shonan, but also in the surrounding areas, farmers sell their fresh seasonal products: strawberries in spring, nashi pears in autumn, and more. After a good meal, you can rent a bicycle and ride freely around the lake. A special bicycle path is available and draws in many hobby cyclists.
